GOLD COAST MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Benefits and conditions of membership are subject to change and are at the discretion of the Gold Coast Football Club.
Purchase of Membership
Members will be sent a confirmation email or SMS once their 2010 Gold Coast Football Club membership has been received and processed.
Membership Fulfilment
The Gold Coast Football Club will send you a confirmation letter confirming your membership and membership benefits in March 2010 or if purchased after this date, approx 14 days after date of receipt. The confirmation letter will include a 2010 Gold Coast Football Club Membership card and bumper sticker for Adult Members. Member Caps and junior sticker packs and Frisbees will be mailed to members who have paid the postage and handling fee in early March, 2010. Members who have opted to collect their additional fulfillment items from a nominated VFL match will be advised of collection dates in their confirmation letter.
Postage & Handling Fee
Member Caps and junior sticker packs and Frisbees will be mailed to members who have paid the postage and handling fee in early March, 2010. If a member signs up to ‘Monthly Pay’, the total postage and handling fee of $7.95 will be deducted in full on the same date as your first installment.
2010 Junior Membership
To be eligible for a junior membership, members must be under the age of 15 years as at January 1, 2010
2010 Family Membership
Family membership is inclusive of up to 2 adult memberships and up to 2 junior memberships (under the age of 15 years as at January 1, 2010) for families residing at the one address. Personal details including name, address, contact details and date of birth must be provided for each member.
Southport Sharks Membership
A Southport Sharks membership will be provided to 2010 Gold Coast Football Club adult members upon acceptance of the entitlement. Costs associated with the Southport Shark membership have not been incorporated within the 2010 Adult Membership price and members will not be charged additional should they wish to accept the benefit. To accept the entitlement, you will be required to tick the permission box on your renewal application so that the Gold Coast Football Club may provide your personal details to the Southport Sharks for membership purposes.
Privacy
Gold Coast Football Club has collected your personal information in order to provide membership services and benefits. We will manage and protect your personal information in accordance with national privacy guidelines recommended under the Privacy Act (CTH) 1998.
Change of Details
Members are required to notify the Club of any change in circumstance, including member contact details; or any relevant information that could affect their membership of the Gold Coast Football Club.
Refund Policy
There will be no exchanges or refunds on memberships purchased without written application. Refunds will be at the discretion of the Manager of Fan Development and will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.
Lost or Stolen Membership Cards
The Club cannot accept responsibility whatsoever for membership cards that are lost, stolen or destroyed. Lost membership cards should be reported immediately to Membership Services on TBC TBC. Upon written confirmation that the card has been lost, a replacement will be issued at the cost of $10 per card. Cards cannot be replaced on game day.
2011 Priority Purchase Periods
In purchasing a 2010 Gold Coast Football Club Membership, the member will be allocated Priority A, B or C which determines what 2011 Gold Coast Football Club Membership release stage they will have access to purchase in:
Priority A – allocated to 2009 members who renew for 2010 by January 30 who do not wish to purchase additional membership packages for new members. Priority A Members will be able to purchase within the first release of 2011 membership packages.
Priority B – allocated to 2009 members who renew for 2010 by January 30 who wish to purchase additional membership packages for new members (new members will also receive a Priority B membership). Priority B Members will be able to purchase within the second release of 2011 membership packages.
Priority C – Gold Coast Football Club Supporters who purchase a club membership package for the first time in 2010 will have access to purchase within the third release of 2011 membership packages prior to the general public.
Once 2011 memberships are made available, members may move down a category in order to purchase seating packages with friends and family who are not in their current priority. Members will not be permitted to move up a category in any circumstance.
Gold Coast Monthly Pay Terms & Conditions
Payments will be deducted in 10 equal instalments on the 1st of each month, beginning on December 1, 2009, via a nominated VISA or MasterCard only.
1. By signing with the Gold Coast Monthly Pay Program, you authorise the Gold Coast Football Club to arrange a transfer of funds from your nominated credit card in amount applicable to your membership type and at intervals as advised in point 2.
2.The first instalment will be debited on December 1, 2009, with further payments on the 1st of each following months until September 1, 2010. If any payment fails to transfer between institutions on the 1st, further attempts will be made in the next five (5) working days to attempt to clear the fund transfer.
3. Members applying for Gold Coast Monthly Pay Program after the first scheduled payment will have the total number of lapsed payments deducted upon receipt of application and then subsequent payments at each specified date.
4. If your debit is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, a letter will be sent requesting immediate payment. Any fees levied to you by your financial institution will be payable by you.
5. The Gold Coast Football Club may suspend or cancel your membership if on two consecutive occasions your financial institution does not honour the payment drawing. We will notify you by letter if we suspend or cancel your Gold Coast Monthly Pay Program.
6. It is your responsibility to ensure that: (a) the account details you have provided are correct, including notification should the expiry date change within the 10-month program; (b) you have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account on the scheduled drawing date.
7. If you believe that a withdrawal has been initiated incorrectly, please contact the Gold Coast Football Club Membership Service Centre on 1300 661 933. You will receive a full refund of the withdrawal amount if we cannot substantiate the reason for the drawing.
