Sales Executive - Tickets
To assist in building our all important off field team, our members and fans, The Gold Coast Football Club is seeking a passionate, committed and enthusiastic Sales Executive (Tickets) to join our clubs journey.
The Gold Coast Football Club (GCFC) is on the journey to become the most exciting football club in Australia. In 2011, we will make our debut in the AFL and bring the excitement of live AFL football and a brand new state of the art stadium experience to the Gold Coast Community.
To assist in building our all important off field team, our members and fans, our Fan Development team is seeking a passionate, committed and enthusiastic Sales Executive (Tickets) to join our clubs journey.
The Sales Executive(Tickets) will be required to:
• Identify new sales opportunities and outlets to grow daily and season ticket markets
• Drive sales in the areas of season and daily tickets
• Develop individual event sales strategies and promotions to maximize ticket yield
• Manage customer relationships and after sales support, from close of sale through to service and hand over
• Service group ticket sales clientele of a match day
• Prepare weekly sales and status of business reports
The ideal candidate will have:
• A degree or diploma in Business or Sports Administration, Marketing or a closely related field
• A strong personal brand, which personifies the GCFC values of bold, fresh, relentless, dependable and community
• Previous sales history based on developing and nurturing a network of sales leads and prospects
• Strong experience in outbound sales calls
• Outstanding relationship management and customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to manage, prioritise and bring to completion multiple projects
• Experience with a CRM program and database management
• Highly developed administrative and computer skills
• Knowledge and passion for sports, particularly AFL
• Current drivers license and own vehicle
