David Swallow was overshadowed by other first-year players in his debut season, but none were more promising or consistent.
Swallow flew under the radar in his first season, but the No. 1 pick from the 2010 NAB AFL Draft was all class in his 21 games.
Averaging 20 disposals and showing clean hands, an ability to win the ball at stoppages and a flair for using it creatively when in space Swallow is an AFL star of the rise.
The supremely fit midfielder, Swallow (brother of North Melbourne captian, Andrew) swallow is also a leader in the making.
