Gold Coast SUNS key forward Charlie Dixon dropped in to help launch a new Gold Coast Youth Centre that is providing services and support to young people in the Molendinar area. Targeting high risk youths aged between 10 and 17 years of age, the service aims to empower adolescents to become the best that they can possibly be by teaching general and specific life skills.

The Gold Coast SUNS, who are committed to the Youth Homelessness area as one of the three key social responsibility areas the Club supports, jumped at the chance to support this event. After a brief stint working the BBQ, Charlie joined the kids for a fun game of pool (pictured above).

The Lynne Richardson Community Service has become the home of this fantastic new service and anyone wishing to learn more may attend between 3:30pm – 5:30pm weekdays to join in the fun.
