Gold Coast SUNS midfielder, Michael Rischitelli says his teammates are looking forward to Saturday’s intra club match at Metricon Stadium.

“It is going to be exciting... we have been training for quite a few months now so the boys are a bit on edge and ready to play so I can't wait," Rischitelli said.

The GC SUNS will field two near full strength teams for the match which will be the sides final hitout before next weekends NAB Cup.

"It will be exciting, and the fact we have a lot of guys on track ready to go."

Rischitelli says the teams goal is to improve on 2011.

“We want to build on what we achieved from last year," he said.

"To do that obviously the skills are important and so is running out games a lot harder than what we have been.

"As long as we can do that, the rest will take care of itself."
