As the Gold Coast Football Club moves closer to its first year in the AFL, one of its main commitments as a club, will be establishing and maintaining a strong community connection. The Gold Coast Football club is committed to making a difference in the Community both now and well into the future.
Working with the AFL and AFL Queensland, the GCFC currently invests more than $1 million annually into the community through various programs, which see over 20,000 active participants take part in AFL within the Gold Coast region at Auskick, School competitions, Junior and Senior Club games.
Our promise is to ensure we will have meaningful engagement with the community. We are currently working closely in conjunction with the Gold Coast City Council and local service providers, to roll out activity and awareness in support of our three key social responsibility areas, which are:
