The Gold Coast SUNS have made two changes for Thursday night’s blockbuster Sir Doug Nicholls Clash against Hawthorn at TIO Stadium.

StreetSmarts SUNS Academy duo Will Graham (shoulder) and Jake Rogers (ankle) come out of last weekend’s victorious side over the Western Bulldogs due to injury.

They have been replaced by the experienced David Swallow and ruckman Ned Moyle.

Thursday’s match will kick off the AFL’s Sir Doug Nicholls Round celebration, with the SUNS having four Indigenous and Northern Territorian players named in Daniel Rioli, Ben Long, Joel Jeffrey and Malcolm Rosas Jnr.

It will also be a milestone occasion on multiple fronts, with vice-captain Touk Miller celebrating his 200th AFL game, and fellow former co-captain Jarrod Witts running out for his 150th game for the Gold Coast SUNS.

Tomorrow’s match will be the club’s first primetime game of 2025 and will be broadcast live nationally on Channel 7 (7mate in Queensland), 7plus, Fox Footy, Kayo and Binge.

First bounce is at 7:30pm AEST.
