David Swallow will be sidelined for the remainder of the season after aggravating his PCL (posterior cruciate ligament) during Saturday’s match against the Western Bulldogs in Cairns.

The 2014 Gold Coast SUNS Club Champion will seek further specialist advice before determining the most appropriate way to treat the injury.

“David aggravated his PCL during Saturday’s game and as a result he will miss the remainder of the season,” General Manager Football Operations, Marcus Ashcroft, said.

“Our medical staff, David and specialists will discuss the options available to him in the coming days before determining the most appropriate way to rehabilitate the injury.”
