AFL Multicultural Ambassador Tom Nicholls was king of the kids on Tuesday, visiting homes around the Gold Coast and handing out AFL Auskick pack-bags to new registrants.
Nicholls’ first stop was the Smith household in Helensvale to surprise Charlie, 9, and Lewis, 6, who were both in their first year of the Auskick program.
The SUNS ruckman presented them each with their AFL Auskick benefits pack before enjoying some time with the young brothers who came to Australia from the United Kingdom and shared a strong passion with Nicholls for the Liverpool Football Club.

“I was lucky enough to surprise a couple of young boys who are starting Auskick for their first year this year, Lewis and Charlie,” Nicholls told SUNS TV after the visit.
“Gave them a backpack each and a footy each, so hopefully they turn into a long fledging career in the AFL.”
