Vice-captain Touk Miller has been voted the best player this season by his peers, taking out the Players’ Player award at the SUNS Club Champion.

It completes a hat-trick for Miller who was also named the joint Players’ Player for the past two seasons alongside captain David Swallow.

The award is voted on by the playing group after each match and is given to the player who best exemplifies the club’s values on the field.

It was a terrifically consistent season by Miller in 2021, with the 25-year-old missing just one game due to suspension.

He had a career-best year where he elevated his game to another level, averaging 32 disposals and seven tackles a game, both rated elite amongst midfielders.

Miller also continues to be an excellent leader around the club and was promoted to stand-in captain in the absence of Swallow and Jarrod Witts in Round 15.

Miller is now equal with Swallow for the most Players’ Player awards in club history, tied on three apiece.
