The Gold Coast SUNS have extended a long-standing partnership with global medical brand Elastoplast until the end of 2023.
The SUNS have partnered with Beiersdorf Health Care, parent company to Elastoplast, since 2015, with the club exclusively using the products in its high performance department.
GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull said the two-year extension would ensure the club’s staff could continue to provide the best possible products to the playing group.
“AFL is an extremely physically demanding sport which is why it is so important for us as high performance staff to make sure we are doing everything possible to manage the risk of injury to our players,” Bull said.
“We’ve been using the Elastoplast products for many years now in both our AFL and AFLW programs and are confident that we are using the best possible products on the market for our players.
“From strapping tape to braces and bandages, we have full confidence in the products and are pleased to be able to continue to use them into the future.”
Beiersdorf Health Care General Manager for Sport Stanko Zonich said the company was thrilled to extend on its established partnership with the SUNS.
“Here at Beiersdorf Health Care, we are delighted to continue our partnership with the Gold Coast SUNS for a further two years with Elastoplast sport product,” Zonich said.
“We pride ourselves on providing the best sport medicine products and tapes, to support all athletes through training, game day to recovery.”
