It’s a bold new era for the Gold Coast SUNS who are taking our fearless identity to the Barossa for Gather Round in 2025.
After launching the trailblazing Pink Collection last month, heroed by an AFL-first predominantly pink guernsey, the SUNS will turn heads as the club sets to turn the Gold Coast and Barossa Valley pink for one of the AFL’s marquee rounds.
SUNS fans can look forward to a sea of pink throughout the week as the club looks ahead to its blockbuster clash against North Melbourne at Barossa Park on Saturday and the debut of its pioneering pink guernsey.
The trailblazing design pays tribute to the quintessential pink skies of a Gold Coast sunrise, and reflects the evolution of the Gold Coast SUNS – modern, agile and unshackled from long-standing tradition.
Replicating the design of the club’s mature new home guernsey and with an eye to embracing a bold future, the inclusion of the iconic waveform respects our history, symbolising the waves of the ocean.
Saturday’s match will mark the first time an AFL club has donned a predominately pink playing guernsey, showcasing the club’s bold approach to setting new boundaries and pushing beyond the norms set before us.
The historic inaugural match at Barossa Park is sold out, with Queensland based fans able to see the SUNS make history live on Kayo & Fox Footy from 12pm with a delayed broadcast on 7mate from 2pm AEST.
