It’s time to select your Austworld Player of the Round from Saturday’s historic win in the Barossa.
John Noble was the SUNS’ major ball winner in pink, finishing with 28 disposals and a crafty last-quarter goal. He was closely followed by midfield trio Touk Miller (1 goal, 28 disposals), Noah Anderson (27 disposals, four tackles) and Matt Rowell, who had a game-high 11 clearances.
Ben King was at his efficient best, kicking five goals straight from six disposals with Ben Long (three goals, 15 disposals) and Sam Flanders (two goals) also bagging multiple goals in the club’s trailblazing pink guernsey.
Joel Jeffrey was electric across half-back finishing with a goal from his 20 disposals while Ben Ainsworth, Bailey Humphrey and Jake Rogers piled the pressure on North Melbourne throughout the contest.
