The Gold Coast SUNS will continue their commitment to supporting the Youth Homeless Network at the Gold Coast City Council grounds at Bundall, by attending the annual Youth Homeless Matters Day this Wednesday 6th April.

The day is one of the biggest on the calendar for the Youth Homeless Network and is a key part of National Youth Week activity, that runs on the Gold Coast as part of National Youth Week.

With well over 750 Homeless Youth on the streets of the Gold Coast on any one night, the club are keen to continue the work they have done the past 2 years in the Community in this area, to raise both awareness and funds for Youth Homeless network.

Gold Coast SUNS CEO Travis Auld will represent the club at the official launch of the event Wednesday morning and will reconfirm the clubs commitment to Youth Homelessness on the Gold Coast and the clubs 3 charities it supports in this specific area.

The Gold Coast SUNS have also announced today that players Daniel Harris and Nathan Ablett will be ambassadors for the club in the area of Youth Homelessness for 2011.

Both players have an interest in assisting in raising the awareness and participating in activity within the Youth Homeless sector.

The players have participated in previous activity such as the Face Your Fears Day and Homeless Connect and will again lead the way by being involved again in 2011.
