Gold Coast SUNS staff batted it out for Autism Gold Coast in a charity cricket match on Sunday which helped raise much-needed funds for the local non-profit organisation.
The charity event raised approximately $1,000 for the local non-profit organisation as well as promoted awareness for the nation’s fastest-growing developmental disability.
Held at Cheltenham Oval in Robina, GC SUNS staff went up against players and staff from Bond University Rugby Club in a fast-paced modified game of cricket.
Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects, among other things, the way an individual relates to his or her environment and their interaction with other people.
