Izak Rankine will continue to build up his training efforts in attempt to recover from a cork to his quad suffered in Round 1 against the Eagles.
“Izak began running again earlier this week and he’ll continue to increase his loads but will obviously need to tick a couple of recovery milestones off in an effort to be available for selection,” GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull told the Qscan Injury Update.
The energetic small forward has missed the past two games against the Demons and Giants.
Joel Jeffrey wasn’t able to take part in the Round 2 VFL victory over the Swans with a slight groin injury but will aim to train fully in the build-up to Sunday’s fixtures.
“Joel will take part in today’s session along with main training on Thursday and as long as he gets through both of those, he should be available to play.”
Charlie Constable looked right at home in SUNS colours as he made a successful return from his groin injury in the VFL match on Friday night and will be looking to build form over the coming weeks.
