Two Gold Coast SUNS Academy members have received the highest of accolades, named in the 2022 NAB AFLW National Championships U18 All Australian team.

Talented Queensland prospects Alana Gee and Havana Harris were both selected in the All Australian side, at the conclusion of the National Championships held last weekend.

The nomination tops a standout series for Gee who was also named Queensland’s Most Valuable Player.

Gee was named in the All Australian side on the wing, amassing 24 disposals and 3.7 tackles on average per game, across her three appearances.

Meanwhile, Harris assumes the full forward position, averaging 9 disposals, one goal and just shy of 12 hitouts across her three games.

Harris’ achievement is made more incredible given she is yet to turn 16 years old.

The forward has been part of the Gold Coast SUNS Academy program since 2019, while Gee joined the Club last year and is already touted as a talented AFLW Draft prospect.

The 2022 NAB AFLW National Championships are the highest level of state and territory representative football, as part of the AFLW Talent Pathway Program.
