Rory Thompson suffered a meniscus injury in the Round 10 loss to the Bulldogs and GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull provided an update on the key position players return to play timeline.
“Rory had successful surgery last week on his meniscus and we expect him to be back available to train fully with the main group, in the next month,” Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull told the Qscan Injury Update.
Meanwhile Sean Lemmens missed the Round 11 win over Hawthorn after entering the AFL Health and Safety Protocols but is expected to be available for selection once he’s completed the seven days isolation.
Jy Farrar has been progressing through the AFL concussion protocols well and will be available for selection in Round 12 against the Roo’s.
