The Gold Coast SUNS have confirmed its extended 26-man squad for Sunday’s home clash against West Coast at Metricon Stadium.
As announced earlier, the SUNS’ top pick in the 2021 NAB AFL Draft Mac Andrew will make his AFL debut against the Eagles.
He has been named at centre half-back in place of Charlie Ballard who sustained a season-ending knee injury in Round 19.
Key forward Mabior Chol has been named to run out for his 50th AFL game as he looks to keep his goal-kicking streak alive.
The remaining twenty-one players who took the fight to the Lions in last weekend’s QClash have all been named, with the inclusions of Jack Bowes, Oleg Marlov, Hewago Oea and Malcolm Rosas Jnr on the extended bench.
The final 22-man squad will be confirmed via official SUNS channels at 5pm Friday evening.
