A returning Alex Sexton made his presence known in the forward line early, finishing with a career-best, game high six goals.

While a boot to the forehead kept Ben Ainsworth out of action for half of the third term, he remained a valuable contributor across the game – with his workrate and skill leading to 24 touches, 10 marks and a major.

A goal with his first kick of the game set the tone for Noah Anderson as he charged towards the end of a career best season.

Anderson excelled with 30 disposals, eight clearances, 13 score involvements, nine inside 50s and a goal off his own boot.

The experience of David Swallow and Brandon Ellis cannot be discounted, with their strong-bodied defensive efforts and reliability helping will their side to a 67 point win.

Malcolm Rosas Jnr also showed glimpses of his talent in front of goals, both contributing to the scoreline with two goals as well as impressing with his pressure acts and repeat efforts.

The defensive work of Jy Farrar against North's Cameron Zurhaar was also impressive, holding him goalless while working hard for six intercepts himself. 

A monster second half from Touk Miller showed all class, as the captain worked his way into the game to finish with 25 touches, eight tackles and eight clearances.
