Headaches at the selection table awaits GC SUNS AFLW Head Coach Cameron Joyce with almost a full suite of players available for Saturday’s season opener against North Melbourne in Hobart.
The SUNS head into Saturday’s clash with only off-season recruit Courtney Jones listed as a test to face North Melbourne in this week’s Qscan Injury Update.
“Courtney sustained an injury to the patellofemoral joint during a training session last week,” GC SUNS Physiotherapist Indianna Franke said.
“She will train this week and a decision will be made on her availability closer to game day.”
The SUNS will name its final team for Round 1 on Friday evening, before a 1.10pm bounce on Saturday afternoon at Blundstone Arena.
