Mabior Chol has won the leading goalkicker award at the 2022 Gold Coast SUNS Club Champion.

Chol played all 22 games this season and booted 44 goals in his first season at Gold Coast.

He formed a formidable forward-line duo with fellow new recruit Levi Casboult who finished second in the club’s goalkicking with 35 majors.

Notching his 50^th AFL game in Round 20 against West Coast, Chol kicked a career-high five goals in what was his most prolific outing for the season.

The 25-year-old had the second-longest goal streak this season, kicking a goal in every match up until Round 21.
