Former #1 draft pick Charlie Rowbottom continues to go from strength to strength in her second AFLW season.
The 19-year-old is one of three SUNS named in the Round 4 AFLW Team of the Week, alongside off-season recruit Courtney Jones and Kalinda Howarth.
Rowbottom dominated the stat lines in Saturday’s win against the Saints, racking up 30 disposals to go with nine tackles and six clearances.
Howarth and Jones were the beneficiary of a number of SUNS forays inside forward 50, three of which came from Rowbottom’s boot, with the pair snagging three majors combined.
Howarth had a goal in each of the first and third quarters to go with 22 disposals, while in just her third game for the club, Jones made the most of an opportunity in the third term to kick her third goal in SUNS colours. She also finished as one of the Gold Coast’s highest ball winners with 18 touches.
