The Gold Coast SUNS have finalised its AFLW list ahead of the 2023 AFLW season.
The SUNS added eight new faces to its list throughout the Sign & Trade period as well as the Season Eight Supplementary Draft, alongside a large contingent of returning players.
New additions include Maddy Brancatisano (Sign & Trade, Richmond), Jordan Membrey (Sign & Trade, Collingwood), Ella Maurer (Sign & Trade, North Melbourne), Clara Fitzpatrick (Sign & Trade, St Kilda), Niamh McLaughlin (Ireland), Cara McCrossan (Supplementary Draft, Pick 6) and Meara Girvan (Supplementary Draft, Pick 10).
The entirety of the club’s Season Seven Top 10 also recommitted to the club, as part of a list of 23 players who will once again call the Gold Coast home in 2023.
As previously confirmed, Tasmanian product Claire Ransom has been placed on the inactive list for the upcoming season.
The final list spot has been filled by SUNS Academy product Darcie Davies, making it nine former Academy members in the SUNS AFLW squad.
