SUNS captain Touk Miller is in contention to return to action in Saturday night’s clash against Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.
Miller has been sidelined since Round 6 after suffering a meniscus injury against North Melbourne and has been training strongly ahead of this weekend’s trip to Adelaide.
“Touk will train in our main session this afternoon and is expected to be available for selection this weekend,” GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull told the Qscan Injury Update.
Joel Jeffrey will be unavailable for the next four weeks as he continues to recover from a stress reaction in his foot.
There were no fresh injury concerns from the weekend’s AFL match against Collingwood, or the VFL clash with Essendon.
