The Gold Coast SUNS have made two changes for its Round 22 fixture against the Sydney Swans at the SCG on Saturday afternoon.
As confirmed this evening, foundation SUN Sam Day will play his 150th AFL match against the Swans, coming into the side in place of Ben King.
The young key forward will miss the game with knee soreness after battling through it for the past couple of months but is expected to return to the side for the final two games of the season.
Captain Touk Miller returns to the side following a one-match suspension with Wil Powell unavailable for the clash after sustaining ligament damage last weekend.
Last week’s sub Jy Farrar moves into the starting 22 with James Tsitas, Ben Long, Mabior Chol and Brayden Fiorini listed as the four emergencies. One of that group will be named as the SUNS sub an hour before the first bounce.
First bounce is at 1.45pm Saturday at the SCG, following a VFL curtain raiser between the SUNS and Swans at 9.45am. If you can’t make it to the game, tune in via Fox Footy, Kayo and the Seven network (check your local guides).
