Tate Kaesler has locked in his VFL side to take on the Northern Bullants in the second match of tomorrow’s double header at People First Stadium.
Sixteen AFL-listed players feature in the side who are eyeing its first win of the season after falling just short to the Casey Demons in last weekend’s season opener.
Nick Holman will play his first VFL game of the season, returning from the AFL side, while former SUNS Academy member Oscar Wood will make his VFL debut. Jezz Butler and Zach O’Brien have been named for their second and third games respectively.
The SUNS are undefeated in its previous VFL meetings against the Bullants, winning the two games by a combined 177 points. The most recent meeting came back in Round 13, 2023 in a 122-point demolition.
Free entry for the VFL match at People First Stadium is included with a valid ticket for the SUNS v Crows AFL match. First bounce is at 3:40pm with limited food outlets and bus services to remain operational throughout.
