SUNS fans it’s time to select your Austworld Player of the Round following Saturday afternoon’s Thank You Round clash with the Blues.

Sam Flanders was everywhere right from the first bounce gathering nine disposals in the first six minutes and amassing 36 disposals for the match.

Connor Budarick came back into the side after more than 400 days and didn’t look out of place finishing with 16 disposals.

The ruck-battle was dominated by SUNS skipper, Jarrod Witts who accumulated 38 hit-outs and picked up 12 disposals to go with his tap work.

The versatile David Swallow spent more time in the front half against the blues kicking a career high four-goals from 16 disposals along with game high tallies in score involvements (11) and marks (eight).

Ben Ainsworth was also electric in front of goal, kicking two goals to go with 27 touches.

Matt Rowell was busy both inside and outside of the contest laying nine tackles to go within six of the all-time record for a single season, also collecting 20 disposals (14 contested).

Sam Collins took control of Charlie Curnow for the second half after the Blues forward started to make an impact whilst, making 11 intercept possessions.

Skipper, Touk Miller lead from the front all day accumulating 29 touches whilst slotting an important fourth-quarter goal.
