A host of SUNS are among the nominees for this year’s 2023 AFL Players’ MVP Awards.
22Under22 team member Noah Anderson is one of three SUNS nominees for the Most Valuable Player Award, alongside key defender Charlie Ballard and captain Jarrod Witts.

Bailey Humphrey’s superb debut season in which he played 19 matches has caught the eyes of his peers with the 19-year-old nominated for the Best First Year Player Award.
Wil Powell’s commitment throughout 18 matches since returning from a serious ankle injury has also been recognised with the 24-year-old nominated for Most Courageous Player.
The awards will take place this Wednesday, August 30.
