The Gold Coast SUNS have completed a trade with the West Coast Eagles for midfielder Alison Drennan.
In exchange for Drennan, the SUNS receive Pick 27 in the upcoming AFLW Draft.
Drennan’s four seasons on the Gold Coast included 40 games in the red and gold as well as the Season Six Club Champion award.
“Arriving in our second season, Alison has always strived to get the best out of herself and her teammates during her time here, which included a Club Champion honour,” GC SUNS Head of Women’s Football Fiona Sessarago said.
“We would like to wish her all the best in this next chapter.”
The AFLW Trade Period concludes at 1pm AEST on Thursday, December 14.
