The Gold Coast SUNS will have a new coaches’ partner to usher in the Damien Hardwick-era, with Dairy Farmers milk coming onboard ahead of the 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
Dairy Farmers, the iconic Australian milk and dairy brand, will take over as the official coaches’ partner of the SUNS with its symbolic logo taking pride of place on the collar of the SUNS coaches.
Dairy Farmers branding will also feature heavily in the Gold Coast SUNS coaches’ box on AFL matchdays.
Gold Coast SUNS Chief Executive Mark Evans said the club was thrilled to welcome such a well-known brand to the SUNS family.
“We’re excited to announce Dairy Farmers as our new coaches’ partner in what we’re sure will be the start of a long relationship with the club moving forward under new Senior Coach Damien Hardwick,” Evans said.
“Dairy Farmers have a reputation of excellence as an industry leader in Australia, and that aligns well with what we aspire to be in the AFL competition.”
Darryn Wallace, Executive General Manager at Bega Group (owners of Dairy Farmers milk) said the organisation was rapt to be partnering with the SUNS at such an exciting time in the club’s journey.
“Dairy Farmers is thrilled to be onboard with the Gold Coast SUNS, Damien Hardwick and the coaching group ahead of the 2024 season. The Gold Coast SUNS are a proudly South East Queensland team, operating in Dairy Farmers milk heartland,” Wallace said.
“Dairy Farmers is proudly Australian Owned and has been an integral part of Queensland life for decades, with its range of quality dairy products. We’re raising a glass of Dairy Farmers milk to this exciting partnership.”
Dairy Farmers, who have been operating since 1900, will have an ongoing presence throughout the club and be featured across AFL, AFLW and Academy programs.
