“It’s going to be another great challenge for our boys, but once again we need to continue to be resilient because the Giants will once again field the strong possible side as they’ve got a pretty full list to choose from,” Hart told goldcoastfc.com.au.
“They are a very strong opposition who will be keen to fix the result that we had three weeks ago next week.”
Despite enjoying an impressive five-game winning streak and with a host of senior team players travelling South in the side, Hart has prepared his charges for a tough encounter and challenged them to keep focussed and working to capacity as they contest their final match before the Bye.
“The challenge is there is can we continue to bring that defensive pressure and game plan that we want to bring to ensure we hit the scoreboard well on turnovers,” he said.
“We need to be strong in the contest, terrific with our spread of the ball and making sure our defence doesn’t give them any easy options.
“If we can do that then that’ll give us the confidence we need to enjoy another victory against them.”
With competition for spots in Guy McKenna’s best twenty-two is at the club’s all-time highest, Hart urged his more-matured senior bodies to show strong leadership and make a strong case for elevation to the top level.
“Our list is the most healthy it is been because the guys that had be playing senior footy this time last year are suddenly finding themselves playing reserves because the performance around the club is great,” Hart said.
“It makes it really tough competition for spots but ultimately it enables us to have a healthy footy club.”
