The Gold Coast SUNS have confirmed its side for Saturday morning’s VFL Round 1 clash against Richmond at People First Stadium.

The side features 17 AFL-listed players with a host of the club’s off-season recruits getting their first taste of action in SUNS colours.

Rookie draftees Sam Clohesy, Will Rowlands and Jack Mahony have been named for their first VFL games as GC SUNS players.

Academy graduates and 2024 draftees Ethan Read, Will Graham and Jake Rogers have also been selected.

The two sides have met just once previously at VFL level with the SUNS winning that meeting by 73 points.

Entry to People First Stadium is FREE with Gate 3 open from 11am ahead of the 11:05am opening bounce. Parking is available in the Red Car Park.
