Captain Jarrod Witts will be available for selection after missing the Round 2 match against the Western Bulldogs with a groin complaint, while Bailey Humphrey will be a test to return after suffering a shoulder injury at training prior to that game.
“Jarrod suffered a low-grade groin strain prior to Round 2 but will train fully on Thursday and we expect him to be available to play the Giants,” GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull told the Qscan Injury Update.
“Bailey has also progressed well and will be a test for this weekend.”
Jy Farrar and Sandy Brock will be sidelined for several weeks after both sustained arm injuries in the VFL season opener.
“Both players sustained fractures in the VFL match against Richmond – Jy in his thumb and Sandy in his forearm and they’ll both be unavailable in the short term,” Bull added.
