The Gold Coast SUNS are raising a call to arms for the city to Paint the Town Red as the team prepares for a blockbuster upcoming Round 16 match against Collingwood on Saturday June 29.
The club is encouraging the Gold Coast community to show their colours with pride for a chance to win a money can’t buy matchday experience.
Limited tickets to the Collingwood match remain, with school holidays in full swing and an influx of travellers expected to descend on the Gold Coast for the match.
The SUNS are lobbying Gold Coasters to activate their homes, businesses and community clubs by decorating with red, gold and blue to show their support for their team.
It could be painting your shopfront, decorating your home with balloons and streamers, or decking out your car with SUNS colours and driving around the Gold Coast.
With the pesky Magpie Army expected to travel north for the warmer climates of the Coast throughout the week, we’re calling on all Gold Coasters to Paint The Town Red, wear your helmets with zip ties on and invoke some city pride.

We would love to see your home or car decorated red, gold and blue, homemade artwork and banners, dye your hair, send in a video message of support or get creative to show your support for the Gold Coast SUNS.
The best submission will win 4x tickets to the SUNS v Port Adelaide Round 18 match at People First Stadium, change room access pre-game, a meet and greet with GC SUNS players and a 2025 GC SUNS General Admission full-season membership.
