Co-captain Jarrod Witts will make his return to action after missing three matches with a fractured back.
The SUNS will go in with a dual-ruck setup, with Witts to partner with Ned Moyle for the first time after the younger ruck has found exceptional form in Witts’ absence in recent weeks.
Small forward Tom Berry is back in the lineup for his third QClash against brother Jarrod from Brisbane.
Also returning to the side is Malcolm Rosas Jnr who is available again after missing the Round 19 match via suspension.
Omitted from last week’s team are Alex Sexton, Connor Budarick and Jed Walter.
The SUNS will be wearing pink socks in honour of Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) for this weekend’s match to pay tribute to the Berry brothers, who lost their mother Jedda to breast cancer in 2013, and are now BCNA ambassadors.
Saturday’s match shapes as the highest-attended QClash at People First Stadium in history, and fans still planning to attend are encouraged to secure their tickets online now to avoid missing out.
Members and fans planning to use train services to attend this weekend’s match should be aware there will be rail closures between Varsity Lakes and Beenleigh.
During this closure there will be replacement buses running between Beenleigh and Varsity Lakes. Plan your journey to find your fastest travel option.
The match gets underway at 4:35pm with gates opening from 2:30pm.
The SUNS VFL will also be playing a curtain raiser at People First Stadium from 12:50pm (early gates open 12:30pm).
