Academy graduate Ethan Read has been named to return from a leg injury while the additions of Jy Farrar, Jack Lukosius, Alex Sexton and Lloyd Johnston add experience to the SUNS side to face Casey Demons.
A win for the SUNS in Saturday’s clash would secure at least a home wildcard fixture, to be played the following weekend.
The SUNS and Demons have squared the ledger in its two previous meetings with Gold Coast taking the points in the last encounter late last season.
The match forms part of a triple header at People First Stadium, with a 10am first bounce to be followed by AFL and AFLW matches throughout the day. Entry for the VFL match is available through Gate 3 from 9:45am.
