The news was not so positive in the VFL, with luckless key position player Ethan Read set for another stint on the sidelines after sustaining a concussion.
Read was playing in his return match from a fracture in his leg when he was involved in a heavy collision in the second half against Casey, being ruled out for the remainder of the match.
