The Gold Coast SUNS are pleased to announce Austworld has extended its contract with the club until the end of 2027.

The three-year multi-asset partnership extension will see Austworld – a Gold Coast-based plumbing wholesaler, continue to feature prominently on the club’s AFL playing and training shorts as well as the AFL media polo.

Along with its branding on SUNS apparel, Austworld will also retain naming rights to the SUNS’ elite training and administration facility, the Austworld Centre.

This includes the Austworld Centre Oval which has become a well-known facility, hosting AFL, VFL and AFLW practice matches and training sessions as well as SUNS Academy fixtures.

The partnership extension continues Austworld’s stature as one of the longest-serving organisations connected to the SUNS, with their support extending back into the club’s foundation year in 2008.

Austworld Founder and Managing Director Sam Raso said the long-standing partnership had resulted in exceptional growth for the organisation nationwide.

“At Austworld, we’re proud to have built a strong reputation as one of the leading wholesalers of plumbing solutions across Australia,” Raso said.

“Over recent years we have been able to significantly expand and advance our range of products in market through investing in the latest technological advancements in research and development.

“The Gold Coast SUNS are like a family to Austworld which aligns with our core brand values as a family business ourselves.

“We are thrilled to have been able to grow our national awareness with the SUNS and we look forward to building on strong foundations over the next three years and beyond.”

Gold Coast SUNS Chief Executive Mark Evans said Austworld had been an outstanding supporter of the SUNS for many years.

“We have had the privilege of having Austworld in our corner since the early days of the club’s inception,” Evans said.

“Since then Austworld have continually added layers of support to our club and we are proud to now have a multi-asset partnership which includes the Austworld Centre – a reflection of their impact on the SUNS.

“We look forward to continuing to work with Sam, Alex and the broader team in the years to come.”

The SUNS and Austworld have joined forces for several important causes over the years, including collaboration for Movember and supporting women in construction.
