Charlie Rowbottom was immense in midfield, leading all comers with an incredible 41 disposals and a team-high nine tackles. Claudia Whitfort also finished with 18 touches and seven tackles, while Lucy Single and Daisy D’Arcy played important roles in both defense and attack.
Lauren Bella dominated the ruck contest with 40 hitouts while fellow tall Darcie Davies made the most her opportunities, kicking two majors.
Charlotte Wilson was strong inside defensive 50, taking a number of crucial contested marks with Niamh McLaughlin also providing plenty of run and carry from half-back.
Elise Barwick’s impressive performance also included her maiden AFLW goal.
