The next crop of emerging AFL and AFLW stars have been put through their paces at the 2024 Draft Combines across the weekend.

A host of Streetsmarts SUNS Academy stars featured across the national and state combines, bringing together the top draft-eligible talents for 2024 including prospects Leo Lombard, Havana Harris, Tara Harrington, Heidi Talbot, Mia Salisbury, Nyalli Milne and Siobhan Ross.

Lombard’s athleticism was on full display, winning the agility test at the National Combine in 7.812 seconds – one of four players to go sub-eight seconds before finishing second in the 20m sprint with a time of 2.851 seconds.

Talbot impressed in similar fashion in those two tests at the AFLW Combine, finishing second in the agility test with a time of 8.469 seconds and eighth in the 20m sprint with a 3.313 second effort.

Top 10 results from the Telstra AFL State Draft Combines and Telstra AFLW Draft Combines will be announced following the completion of this weekend’s Combine events in Adelaide and Perth.
