In Gather Round, we wear pink.
The Gold Coast SUNS are taking its fearless identity to Gather Round in 2025, today unveiling a trailblazing guernsey for the clash against North Melbourne at Barossa Park.
In an effort to set new boundaries beyond those imposed on us in 2025, the AFL-first, predominately pink design is sure to turn heads as the league descends on Adelaide in Round 5.
The guernsey replicates the design of the club’s mature new home guernsey, which was released in November.
The design features the iconic waveform, symbolising the waves of the ocean and a seamless blend of respecting history while embracing a bold future.
The pioneering choice of a pink design pays tribute to the quintessential pink skies of a Gold Coast sunrise, and reflects the evolution of the Gold Coast SUNS – modern, agile and unshackled from long-standing tradition.
Vice-captain Touk Miller says the design is an example of the club’s intent to defy the norms in 2025.
“I think it’s a really fresh and modern design. We want to be fearless, and in order to do that, we have to stand out,” Miller said.
“It’s a bold move, it’s different and no one else is doing what we’re doing. We’re trying to separate ourselves from the rest of the pack and this is one way of doing just that.”
The pink guernsey is the hero piece in the GC SUNS Pink Collection, a new merchandise range launched today which includes a pink lifestyle tee, two hoodie variations and a pink training singlet - all available now in the SUNS Shop.

“We are unapologetically bold in our ambitions to be a leading force in the AFL, to stand out from the crowd and this design is a reflection of how we’ve matured and evolved as a club,” Gold Coast SUNS CEO Mark Evans said.
“We’re fifteen years young in the AFL competition, we’re not steeped in tradition, and we need to embrace that and push the boundaries that others have set for us. It’s not like anything ever seen before in the AFL.”
The 2025 Pink Guernsey is available for pre-order now through the SUNS Shop.
