A suite of new recruits will get their first chance to run out in SUNS colours in Thursday’s match simulation at People First Stadium.
Senior Coach Damien Hardwick has named an extensive squad to take on Collingwood and Brisbane in a rare triple treat on Thursday evening, with the SUNS to take on both clubs across two periods each.

SUNS Academy graduates Leo Lombard and Lachlan Gulbin are joined by 2024 draftees Cooper Bell and Asher Eastham as well as Rookie Draft selection Max Knobel and SSP recruit Ben Jepson.
Experienced duo John Noble and Elliott Himmelberg also feature in the squad on the eve of their first AFL seasons on the Gold Coast.
New captain Noah Anderson will lead the club for the first time when the SUNS first take the field in the third period of the six-period match.
Gold Coast and Brisbane feature in periods three and four with the final two periods to feature the home side against Collingwood with 15-minute breaks between each match. Match simulation begins at 5pm is anticipated to conclude around 8:20pm.
Entry to People First Stadium is FREE with no tickets required via Gates 1 & 3 from 4:30pm. Seating will be available in sections 117-143, with a small number of catering outlets open for consumption on the night.
Spectators are encouraged to make use of complimentary parking in the Blue Car Park. No additional public transport will be available.
