The StreetSmarts Gold Coast SUNS Academy has locked in its Under 18 leadership groups for 2024.
Six players from each of the Academy’s Male and Female sides form the respective leadership groups for upcoming Coates Talent League fixtures in 2025.
The Under 18 Male leadership group includes Beau Addinsall, Cooper Collins, Matthew Hoy, Max Hudson, Jai Murray, and Zeke Uwland.
Sienna Burnham, Georja Davies, Aasha Elliott, Annabelle Foat, Bronte Parker and Ava Usher and will lead the Under 18 Female side in 2025.
Uwland and Usher both feature in the respective leadership groups for a second consecutive season after also earning their places as bottom-age players in 2024.
“We’ve had excellent pre-seasons right across our Streetsmarts SUNS Academy and we’re thrilled to see these 12 players earn leadership positions in our Under 18 teams,” Academy Manager Kath Newman said.
“These players have emphasised the importance of creating an environment where players in our Academy can grow and develop both on-field as players and off-field as teammates and young adults.
“We’re excited for the year ahead.”
2025 Coates Talent League fixtures will be confirmed in the near future.
