The Gold Coast SUNS can provide a Qscan Injury Update ahead of the club’s first match of the season against West Coast at Optus Stadium.
Midfielder Lachie Weller (hamstring) and key defender Charlie Ballard (ankle) will be both be available for selection to face the Eagles.
Fellow defender Mac Andrew (chest) has been ruled out for Round 1 but is set to return next week.
Sam Flanders (back) will also not travel to Perth to face the Eagles and will aim to make his return in Round 3 against the Demons.
The SUNS will hold its main training session on Friday ahead of final teams being named on Friday afternoon.
