A number of SUNS managed some impressive AFL Fantasy scores in the Round 7 match against West Coast. The second-half comeback sparked an increase in Fantasy output for a number of key players, and the team at SUNS Media have analysed some of the best performances from the day.

Jack Martin (MID/FWD - $602,000)

After a down week against the Lions in Round 6, Martin bounced back with a sizeable score of 120 against the Eagles. It’s the 24-year-old’s highest score of the season so far, aided largely by his 29 disposals (11 kicks, 10 handballs) and 10 tackles.

Martin’s score has lifted his season average to 90, and at $602k he is well-priced as a forward upgrade target. Martin is playing more time in the midfield this year which has boosted his scoring and his 1% ownership rate could start to increase as the year progresses.

In Draft formats, if he isn’t already taken look to snap him up as a free agent and play him on the ground.

Anthony Miles (MID - $526,000)

After a two-week layoff with injury, Anthony Miles returned against West Coast this week and had a season-best Fantasy score of 115. Miles had a great spread of points for the match, accumulating 26 disposals, seven marks and five tackles. Miles has been playing extensive midfield minutes this season, with that trend set to continue moving forward.

There was a lot of buzz around the midfielder at the start of the season, and Miles has rewarded the 3% of coaches who stuck with him through his layoff. The 27-year-old rose $27k in value after his big score, and is projected to increase further in the coming weeks with a breakeven of 54. Miles is now averaging 86 for the season and could be a potential sideways trade for Fantasy coaches looking to offload underperforming midfielder Tom Liberatore from their sides.

In Draft formats, Miles is a reliable midfielder who will be a popular free agent target this week, with his 43% ownership set to rise significantly after his score of 115.

Jarrod Harbrow (DEF - $528,000)

Jarrod Harbrow is another SUN who had a season-best Fantasy score on the weekend. The evergreen defender had a team-high 30 disposals to go with his six marks and three tackles, combining for a score of 107.

At just $528,000, the 2018 SUNS Club Champion poses as a discounted defender who has the potential to score Fantasy tons.

He is especially relevant in Draft formats where he is currently owned by just 69% of Fantasy coaches. Harbrow averages 83 points when playing at home, and could be a shrewd free agent pickup this week to cover for injuries. If he is currently available in your league, consider adding him to your squad either on the field this week or as a bench stash option.
