SUNS Male Academy prospect Connor Budarick has earnt an invite to the 2019 NAB AFL Draft Combine to be held from October 1-4.
The Draft Combine is an opportunity for club recruiters to witness the nation’s top prospects in action in a variety of medical, psychomotor, athletic and fitness tests.
It also gives recruiting staff the opportunity to interview potential players ahead of the National Draft.
Budarick is one of three Queenslanders invited to the Combine in a list of 79.
Vic Metro leads all regions with 23 players attending, while Vic Country (21), Western Australia (16) and South Australia (12) were also heavily represented.
Budarick has had a strong season this year, captaining the SUNS Academy to an Academy Series victory before representing the Allies at the Under 18 National Championships where he was awarded All Australian honours.
The 18-year-old was also named the Hunter Harrison Medallist after being judged the best and fairest player in the NAB AFL Under 18 Academy Series.
