The Gold Coast SUNS are expecting another bumper crowd in round eight when AFL powerhouse Collingwood visits, and as such, the match has now been declared a ‘Reserved Seat’ game.

While there are still plenty of ticketing options and great seats available for the match on May 23, the Reserved Seat classification means all stadium seats will be classed as reserved for this match.

Collingwood has travelled to the Gold Coast for the past five years with each game drawing the biggest crowd of the season. The 2014 edition broke the attendance record at Metricon Stadium with 24,032.

In last year’s match, Gold Coast produced one of the most famous victories in their short history. With the odds stacked against them, captain Gary Ablett going down with injury in the third quarter and no interchange for the final term, the SUNS held on for a five-point win in one of the most spirited performances of the season.

This year promises to be no different with a large contingent of Collingwood fans expected to converge on the Gold Coast for the match. GC SUNS supporters are urged to secure their seats as early as possible to avoid any disappointment with tickets for the match available from the below Ticketmaster channels:
