Winter Series coach Michael Gugliotta has made eight changes to the side to take on GWS South at Southport on Sunday.
Under 18 representatives Ellie Hampson, Kitara Farrar, Dee Heslop and Zoe Wood have all been named for their first Winter Series match after playing in the National Championships.
They will be joined by fellow first-timers Courteney Bromage (ex-U18), Lauren Bella (SUNS Academy), Taylor Smith (SUNS Academy) and Uma Brennan (SUNS Academy).
Skipper Beth Pinchin has been swung from fullback to full forward for this week’s match-up to showcase her skills in a new position.
Pinchin told SUNS TV the team is now starting to settle into a rhythm after reviewing the Round 1 match.
“We’ve looked at our last quarter which was probably our best quarter and we’re looking to build on those things and really focussed on a few of those key elements at training,” Pinchin said.
“Hopefully we can bring them into the game on Sunday.”
