On the back of Saturday night’s brave effort against the finals-bound Essendon, Aaron Hall continued to lead the way for Gold Coast players on the AFL Fantasy front.
Tallying 110 points for his coaches after 31 possessions, Hall hit the century mark for the ninth time this season out of a possible 18 games.
The midfielder’s season average has climbed to 98.8 points a game; the SUNS' second highest season average, sitting behind only Gary Ablett.
Trent McKenzie played his best game for the club in a number of seasons which saw his 24 disposals, 9 mark effort result in 109 points.
His value has increased by $44,000 since returning to the AFL side however, not many Fantasy coaches have been able to enjoy this little increase in value as McKenzie is owned by a mere 0.43% of coaches.
Pearce Hanley has enjoyed a nice late run of form, with his score of 101 giving him an average score of 93 across his last three games.
He also has the benefit of dual position status (Mid/Def) and he is certainly one to remember come the beginning of next season with a full pre-season under his belt.
Captain Steven May (99) and Mitch Hallahan (94) were the other SUNS’ who could hold their head high.
May did an outstanding job on the exciting Joe Daniher, limiting him to one goal and 10 possessions whilst May gathered 25 possessions of his own including eight marks.
In his two AFL games in the back end of the year, Hallahan has scored 88 and 94 – he really is a ball magnet who knows how to find the footy at any level.
